Today was so fun! I competed after 4 years. I have to admit I was a bit nervous and had a lot i inner dialogue going on in my head but my awesome doubles partner, Nadine Fahoum (Duke) made me laugh and smile so much. It felt so great poaching, serving an hitting return winners (albeit all a little slower than they used to be).
By my second doubles match I wasn’t nervous anymore and Dominique and I had fun talking strategy.
A great day overall and I also caught up with some players from the tour like Edina Gallovits.
After our matches, Rob Kinas hosted all of us at his house for a player party. We went straight from the court to his gorgeous house.
I was in a dancing mood so after cleaning up, we hit the strip.
