Guys, we lost a nail biter in the finals! My team and I played so well but couldn’t pull it off against our opponents who were touring pros. My partner, Dominique and I lost in the third set tie break. I played really well and laughed so much during the match. My serves where huge, I felt so good serving, coming in, hitting volleys. As I said earlier, it has been 4 years since I have done any kind of competition. I was so nervous on our first day because, I left tennis on rocky terms. I faced my demons, those thoughts of past matches and experiences and focused on the fun. Tennis is so fun! I forgot that but was reminded today. I am so glad I played this event in Vegas. Our nights were filled with masti (crazy fun) and our mornings with awesome tennis.
I know you are all asking me on facebook and what not if the “itch”is back to play on the tour. I won’t deny those thoughts have entered me head but we will see. It felt nice to win a trophy again too! But I am taking life one day at a time and doing what feels right to me. If tennis is in the picture, we will find out soon enough.
